One complete filter change: Three standard HEPASilent™ filters of polypropylene (equal particle efficiency) with more activated carbon for better smoke and gas removal.

The enhanced SmokeStop™ filter is a new, progressive carbon filter with a honeycomb-type structure that improves airflow and has hundreds of odor absorbing carbon pellets.

Like all of our filters, the new carbon filter is progressive in structure. It has three layers: a chipboard frame and outer layer, a pleat element, and a carbon element. The new SmokeStop™ is designed to treat cigarette smoke, acid gases, and ammonia.

The new filter uses a high content of granular carbon for increased efficiency. The new carbon blend of the filter is designed to capture more compounds and gases to lower the pressure point. This means that the airflow through the filter (in cu. ft. per min.) will be higher than in our previous SmokeStop™ filter.

Since the honeycomb design does not require a thick binding agent throughout, all the absorption pores are open for added filtration capacity. The higher activation level of the carbon pellets increases the filter's efficiency.
