How does the HealthPro Plus differ from the rest of the IQAir HealthPro Series?
In addition to the HyperHEPA filter in the standard HealthPro model (which excels at filtering out airborne particles), the IQAir HealthPro Plus also contains a V5-Cell filter for the control of gaseous contaminants and odors.
Unlike the HEPA filters used in conventional air cleaners, the IQAir HyperHEPA filter is manufactured to such a high quality standard that it conforms to the most stringent hospital and cleanroom requirements.
In fact, IQAir is the world's only manufacturer to supply independently type-tested HEPA filter elements in their air cleaner.
The HealthPro Plus is the world's first room air cleaner with filters certified under the most stringent filter standard EN (European Norm) 1822. In fact, IQAir's HyperHepa filter has received the official H12/H13 certification. This gives you the cleanest, freshest and safest air that has ever been possible in your home.
Most air purifiers only filter particles larger than 0.3 microns in size, but 90% of all ultra fine particles are smaller than 0.3 microns.
This means that most air purifiers are only filtering 10% of the particles in your air. IQAir's patented HyperHEPA filters are the first filters tested and certified to filter down to 0.003 microns with a guaranteed minimum efficiency of over 99.5%.

The V5 cell removes over 200 chemicals and gases using 5 lbs. of carbon in a V shape filter to maximize absorption.
